Cteam gets started with e-mobility: fleet vehicles now fill up on solar and wind power

Markus Moll hands over the keys for the Tesla Model Y and Volkswagen ID.5 electric vehicles to Annette Kolb-Brustgi and Jochen Spitz

Cteam Consulting und Anlagenbau expands its electric vehicle fleet for sustainable e-mobility.

Cteam is pushing the energy transition forward with overhead line projects throughout Central Europe, helping to ensure that large amounts of electricity from renewable sources such as wind power are transmitted from the coast to the south. With the introduction of e-mobility in the vehicle fleet, a further step has now been taken in the direction of sustainability and environmental protection. Today, fleet manager Markus Moll symbolically handed over the keys for the first three electric vehicles, a Tesla Model Y and two VW ID.5, to the two Managing Directors Annette Kolb-Brustgi and Jochen Spitz.

The charging infrastructure for the electric vehicles is powered by green electricity from solar and wind energy. For this purpose, a transformer station was erected and a fast charging station with 2×75 or 150 kW as well as three further charging stations with 6×11 or 3×22 kW were installed in the car park at the Ummendorf site. “The charging points ensure an optimal supply of up to eight electric vehicles and also allow our guests and employees to charge their electric cars conveniently”, Markus Moll explains.

Annette Kolb-Brustgi is pleased about the important step for the company and the planet: “Through our sharing concept, we increase the utilisation and thus reduce the total number of vehicles needed. With green electricity, we provide a more environmentally friendly connection between our locations that is also really fun to drive.”

Jochen Spitz adds: “Although the majority of our vehicle fleet and construction machinery are still powered by fossil fuels today, we have decided to make our contribution towards climate protection as part of our mobility concept. The use of electric mobility reduces CO2 emissions and protects the environment.”

The combination of electric mobility with renewable energies and modern fleet management shows that it is possible for a company to contribute to climate protection while also acting economically. As an employer, we want to positively exemplify to our employees that our daily decisions have an impact on the environment and also commit to climate protection and a sustainable future with further measures.
