Helmut Locher, founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Cteam SE, has been awarded the Economic Medal by the State of Baden-Württemberg. The honour was presented on 12 November 2025 by the Minister for Economic Affairs, Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, during a ceremonial event in Stuttgart.
The Economic Medal is one of the state’s highest honours and is awarded to individuals who have rendered outstanding services to the economy of Baden-Württemberg. In its statement, the state government particularly highlighted Helmut Locher’s entrepreneurial life’s work, his social responsibility and his consistent commitment to core values.
In her laudatory speech, the Minister paid tribute to Helmut Locher’s decades of entrepreneurial work, his special sense of responsibility towards his staff, and his active contribution to the state’s economic and social development.
“Helmut Locher embodies visionary thinking, entrepreneurial courage and a deep awareness of social cohesion,” said Hoffmeister-Kraut. “His entrepreneurial journey has been characterised by teamwork, innovative strength, strategic foresight and an unwavering commitment to quality.”
The honour is not only a sign of appreciation for an impressive entrepreneurial life’s work, but also underlines the strategic and social contribution made by Cteam as a responsible company operating in a key industry of the future.
