Ummendorf, 24 October 2026 – At the BDÜ’s autumn meeting, the association’s president, Cornelia Rösel, presented the 2026 Hieronymus Prize to the Cteam Group. The award was accepted by Anzula Lovric Caparin, Team Leader for Language and Integration. The BDÜ has been awarding the prize since 2012 to companies and organisations that demonstrate exemplary multilingual communication. Previous winners include Deutsche Bahn, Volkswagen AG, ZF Friedrichshafen and ENERCON, amongst others.

Communication as the foundation for safety and cooperation

People from more than 60 nations work at Cteam. Multilingual communication makes a decisive contribution to safety on our construction sites, to intercultural understanding and to staff retention. That is why we have been relying on professional language mediators for over ten years. We currently have around 20 of them working for us, selected via the BDÜ and on personal recommendation. Together with our language and integration officers, they support training courses at the Cteam Academy, site assignments, health and safety briefings and discussions with the HR department. Important documents are published in eight company languages: German, English, Portuguese, Croatian, Latvian, Polish, Turkish and French.

The jury particularly highlighted the quality of the collaboration: interpreters receive comprehensive preparatory material and access to our specialist glossaries; training sessions follow a standardised technical vocabulary; and mutual feedback is an integral part of the processes.

Dedicated department since March 2026

To embed this work on a permanent basis, Cteam established the Language and Integration Department in March 2026. Led by Anzula Lovric Caparin, it brings together language support, quality assurance and intercultural communication.

“This award recognises not only the work of our team, but also the dedication of our language mediators and all our colleagues who make communication and multilingualism possible at Cteam every day,” says Anzula Lovric Caparin. “We accept this award together, with great joy and as an incentive to continue on our path.”
